Treelake Community Yard Sale — Granite Bay, California

The Treelake Community Yard Sale runs Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 8:00am to 12:00pm in the Treelake neighborhood of Granite Bay. More than 40 households participate. Maps of the participating homes are handed out at the corner of East Roseville and Swan Lake Drive from 8:00am to 11:00am. The sale is free to attend, open to the public, and happens twice a year — once in spring and once in fall.

Where do I get the map of participating homes?

At the corner of East Roseville and Swan Lake Drive, between 8:00am and 11:00am on the day of the sale. Start there. Treelake covers a lot of ground and the homes are spread out, so the map is what keeps you from missing half of them.

How should I shop it?

A few things that come from running this event for years:

• Come at 8. The best pieces go early.
• Plan on driving. Treelake is spread out. This isn't a sale you can walk end to end — grab the map and work it in loops.
• Park clear of driveways and mailboxes. Pull as far off the road as you safely can, and don't block anyone in.
• Bring small bills. Forty-plus households, and almost nobody is breaking a fifty at 8am.
• Measure your trunk before you leave. Somebody calls a friend with a truck by 9:15 every single year.

A note on driving through the neighborhood

Treelake is a family neighborhood, not an event venue. Saturday morning here looks the same as any other — neighbors out walking, some with dogs, kids on bikes, cyclists on the parkway path. On sale day there is simply a lot more traffic sharing the road with them.

Please observe the rules of the road while you are in the community. Drive the speed limit, stop at the stop signs, give pedestrians the right of way, and assume someone is about to step out from between parked cars.

How often does the Treelake yard sale happen?

Twice a year. Once in spring, once in fall. The fall sale is consistently the bigger of the two. If you miss this one, the next one comes around in the spring.

Where exactly is Treelake?

Treelake is a residential community in Granite Bay, California, in southern Placer County, near Folsom Lake and within the Eureka Union School District. It sits just east of Roseville, off East Roseville Parkway. Zip code 95746.

Can I participate as a seller?

Yes, if you live in Treelake. Registration opens several weeks before each sale and closes the Sunday before. Participating households are added to the community map that shoppers pick up on the morning of the event. Directional signs go up throughout the neighborhood the day before.
